kai had his first philippines trip last weekend. we went to manila for a little r&r and eating, of course. a good little family trip.
kai also just rolled over yesterday, and tried his first rice cereal. he is mastering the skills (eating and rolling), and is a big boy now (16.9 lbs, 26.4 in). 
kai is nearly 4 months old now. it’s crazy how fast time flies! we have been having a lot of laughs with him. apparently he thinks it’s hilarious when rick counts to 4 in mandarin. unfortunately, we have a long way to go on the mandarin and korean…for now he hears a lot of cantonese and tagalog – not exactly our first choices (sorry), but maybe we can start to train him soon. any pointers on teaching your kids more than one language? i guess it would have helped if i spoke more mandarin to him.
